Wael Ghonim for Think Quarterly
In July I got the opportunity to fly to Cairo to photograph Wael Ghonim, the 'facebook revolutionary' who used social media websites to organise the protests on January 25th, which sparked the uprising and overthrowing of Mubarak. Read the full story here.

Road Trip (Fail)
Last weekend three of us saddled our Triumphs and headed for the highway...
...by Newbury James' bike had fallen apart.
The next morning and we're still in Newbury, but feeling positive for the day ahead. We hit the road...
An hour later we're back in Newbury.
That evening we make it to Wales (on two bikes). We get stuck into the locals.
The next morning and we're looking forward to a day of ripping up some Welsh A roads.
20 minutes later and I'm ploughing a field with my face- nobody told me about the wild horses that wander the roads. The horses escape without injury, my bike is not so lucky.
Try as we might, three guys just don't fit onto one bike. It's the end of the road for this trip.

Polo Jeans Art Stars book
In the Spring of both 2010 and 2011 I travelled around Europe photographing artists in their studios as they worked on their 'Art Stars', which they had been commissioned to produce by Ralph Lauren Polo Jeans. Here are some spreads from the Art Stars book that was produced afterwards.
